Clean & Cool Mission is a collaboration between the Technology Strategy Board, UK Trade & Investment, Polecat, Volans and Enterprise UK.
The Clean & Cool Mission is a competition tthat identified the top 20 fast growing Clean & Cool companies in the UK.
The companies selected will be travelling to San Francisco from 20 Feb to 26 Feb to meet Investors, potential partners, media and peers on the West Coast.
Clean tech businesses were invited to compete for the opportunity to take part and in all there were over 150 applications with 20 businesses selected for the mission by a panel of judges made up of representatives from sponsor organisations.
The successful companies were announced at private event in London on Feb 1st 2010

The 20 companies produce and are developing a wide range of clean technologies from ‘straw bale low impact buildings ’ to ‘waterless washing machines’, ‘hydro- and wave- power energy generating devices’ and much more.
