As part of ModCell's™ ongoing research programme we are building a two storey BaleHaus on the campus of the University of Bath.
The construction programme commenced on the 16th of June 2009 and will be completed by the 1st of September 2009.
The research will concentrate on a number of key area's including:
Thermal performance
Acoustics
Air tightness
Relative Humidity
The building will be fitted with the latest testing technologies to monitor all aspects of the buildings performance.
At the end of the project the buidling will be dismantled and relocated to another site.
The ModCell™ panels being used on the first floor of the building have previously been used as the ground floor of THTKB . We are delighted that they have found a new home at the University of Bath.
