Following the successful use of straw as the panel infill, working in partnership with Tradical Hemcrete we can now offer the same modular cellulose panel with a structural infill of Hemcrete.

Modcell Hemp uses Tradical HemCrete is an innovative new material comprising a unique blend of specially prepared hemp shiv (Tradical® HF) and a special lime based binder (Tradical® HB); which together form a bio-composite building material. The hemp is grown and harvested in the UK.

The panel (shown on the right) offers an excellent U-value of 0.16 at 500mm deep, or 0.28 at 300mm deep with the added benefit of increasing the panels structural performance due to the characteristics of the Hemcrete.
